L: Mom, what language is BONJU? Me: Bonjour is french. L: What about NI HAO? Me: Chinese. Mandarin chinese. L: I know HOLA! But, what's TOODLE-OO? I don't know that language.

Parent/Teacher Conferences

I met with the twins' teachers today. Sharing these select quotes from parent/teacher conferences todays. They sum up my kiddos well. "She would talk for the entire circle time if I let her." -Ms.C "He's very high-energy and enthusiastic." -Ms.E

Eirin: Daddy, pick up my shoes.
Daddy: Who's the boss? Daddy is the boss.
Eirin: No, Mama is the boss.
Daddy: There are two bosses, Mommy and Daddy.
Eirin: Yes, two bosses, Mama and Aya.

Where did the year go? These kids are growing up before our eyes, hard to believe they'll be 4 in a couple of months. I want to savor every moment of their precious childhood, it's an amazing experience watching them discover the world, I wish time would slow down.... Here's to an awesome year, I am thankful for a wonderful family and fortunate to be Eirin's and Liam's Mama.
